Six Thematic Working Groups
The Platform establishes Working Groups to deliver its annual work programme. Members are free to participate in all, in a party or in none of the Working Groups. They appoint their Working Group Leader (illustrated by their logo in this page) and if appropriate a Deputy to coordinate the activities.
WG Batteries
The Battery working group will develop a Platform position on EU battery production and supply chain, and will jointly input in relevant initiatives at EU-level, such as labelling and the early steps of the Battery Directive’s review.

WG Energy
The working group will work on a benchmark of charging tariffs across Member States. It will also work on the Energy Taxation Directive (2003/96/EC), especially on EU-level harmonization of taxation levels on energy fuels and shared principles on taxation levels for environmental-friendly energy fuels.

WG Fleet
Electrification
The working group will monitor the transposition of the Clean Vehicles Directive at national level and communicate concerns and findings with the Commission and relevant Member States.

WG Green Deal
Along with key legislative development (e.g. EU ETS, CO2 Standards) the working group will draft the Platform’s strategic vision to decarbonise the transport sector by 2050.

WG Infrastructures
The WG works on the revision of the Directive on Alternative Fuel Infrastructure (2014/94/EU) to provide advocacy support on the deployment of public charging infrastructure and will also focus on the upcoming revision of the Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings (2010/31/EU) to highlight the importance of the roll-out of private charging infrastructure.

WG Logistic
The WG Eurovignette will be providing advocacy support and knowledge and information exchanges between members on the Eurovignette file.
